Job Description
A company in the furniture sector is looking for a Technical Designer to join their Technical Office. This role involves supporting product design, development, and industrialization.
You will be responsible for technical design and industrial drawing, ensuring products align with materials, production lines, and aesthetic requirements. The role also includes product development, material evaluation, and optimizing designs for cost and performance. You'll also contribute to research and development, and collaborate with other departments like production and quality control.
The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience in technical design or product development, a technical degree, and excellent knowledge of AutoCAD 2D/3D. Experience with solid modeling software like PTC Creo, SolidWorks, or CATIA is preferred. Familiarity with product design and industrialization processes in the furniture industry is also important, along with fluent Italian and at least B1 level English.
