Job Description
This company is looking for an AutoCAD Drafter to join their team, focusing on K-12 education projects. You'll be responsible for creating precise 2D drawings using AutoCAD, and potentially Revit, throughout all project stages. This includes updating plans based on feedback and collaborating with architects and engineers to ensure accuracy.
The role involves maintaining organized drawing files and adhering to CAD standards. You'll also assist with creating as-built drawings, construction documentation, and supporting permit and bid sets. Contributing to drawing templates and standards to improve efficiency is also part of the job.
To be successful, you'll need an Associate's Degree in a related field and 2-5 years of architectural drafting experience. Strong AutoCAD skills are essential, with Revit experience being a plus.
