Job Description
This company is seeking a Mechanical Draftsperson to join their team in Surrey, British Columbia. You'll be responsible for creating detailed mechanical drawings for HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and sprinkler systems across various project types, including residential, commercial, and mixed-use buildings.
You'll work closely with engineers, designers, and architects, coordinating drawings and ensuring they meet project requirements and building codes. This role involves reviewing architectural and structural plans, making revisions based on feedback, and maintaining high drawing standards.
The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of drafting experience, proficiency in AutoCAD, and ideally some experience with Revit MEP. A good understanding of mechanical building systems and the ability to read complex drawings are essential.
