The company is looking for an AutoCAD Drafter to create accurate shop drawings and manage the submittal process for construction projects. This role involves interpreting civil and site plans, and coordinating with various teams and contractors. It's a production-focused position where meeting deadlines is crucial for project approvals. You'll be responsible for developing detailed shop drawings for fencing systems, ensuring they align with project requirements and constructability standards. This includes preparing and submitting comprehensive packages with drawings, product data, and material specifications, while tracking revisions and status updates. Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is essential, along with a solid understanding of construction drawings and civil/site plans. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience in shop drawings or detailing, and experience with construction submittals. Good communication and organizational skills are key to collaborating effectively and managing deadlines independently. If you're a detail-oriented drafter ready to contribute to project success, this could be a great fit.
