Job Description
This company is looking for a Sprinkler Design Technician to join their engineering team. You'll be responsible for creating all the necessary plans, diagrams, and calculations for sprinkler systems, making sure they meet industry standards. This involves visiting sites to take measurements and incorporating any site-specific challenges into your designs.
You'll also be involved in project meetings, both internally and with clients, and will help manage the technical aspects of ongoing projects. A key part of the role is to identify ways to improve the prefabrication and installation processes, while keeping an eye on deadlines, budgets, and safety, quality, and environmental goals.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of fire safety, particularly sprinklers and smoke extraction systems. Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential, with some knowledge of hydraulic calculations and Revit being a plus. You should have at least three years of experience in a similar design or estimating role and be a self-starter with strong analytical, organizational, and teamwork skills.
If you're ready to contribute your design skills to impactful projects, this could be a great fit.
