Job Description
The company is looking for a CAD Specialist to join their Engineering Projects team in Dubai. This role involves providing technical support for new aircraft projects, focusing on cabin interiors, inflight entertainment, and avionics. You'll be using CAD software, ideally AutoCAD, to create detailed drawings, layouts, and 3D models of aircraft interiors.
Your work will involve analyzing product data, adapting existing program information for new aircraft, and exploring new digital tools and methodologies. You'll also contribute to engineering studies, investigate cabin item issues, and assist in preparing technical specifications and tender documents. Maintaining project documentation and coordinating deliveries will also be part of your responsibilities.
This position requires at least two years of engineering experience and a degree in an engineering or aviation-related field. Proficiency in CAD software like AutoCAD is essential, with experience in 3D modeling tools such as Rhino or Blender being a plus. A good understanding of aircraft systems and the ability to interpret engineering drawings are also important.
