The company is seeking an AutoCAD Technician to support its Maintenance Department, specifically within the ERW Line. This role involves creating and updating technical drawings for machinery, piping, and structures, crucial for maintenance, modifications, and improvement projects. The technician will work closely with engineers and supervisors, interpreting sketches and specifications to produce accurate layouts and fabrication drawings. Key responsibilities include preparing and revising 2D AutoCAD drawings, ensuring they meet company standards and safety requirements. The role also requires updating as-built drawings after work is completed and maintaining organized documentation. A good understanding of industrial equipment and piping is beneficial, as is the ability to take site measurements and translate them into drawings. This opportunity is ideal for someone with at least three years of experience as an AutoCAD Technician, preferably within steel pipe manufacturing or heavy industrial settings. A diploma or ITI in a relevant technical field is required. If you have a keen eye for detail and experience in industrial maintenance, this could be a great fit.
