Job Description
This company is looking for a Draftsman to join their team in Abu Dhabi. You'll be responsible for creating detailed shop drawings, IFC drawings, and as-built drawings for a variety of high-end projects, including residential, commercial, retail, and hospitality spaces.
Your role will involve producing comprehensive drawings for joinery and millwork, such as kitchens, wardrobes, and custom furniture, ensuring they are ready for both factory production and on-site installation. You'll also collaborate closely with design, estimation, and project teams to ensure drawings accurately reflect design intent and site conditions, and conduct site visits to validate drawings.
To be successful, you'll need at least three years of experience in interior fit-out and joinery drafting in the UAE, with strong AutoCAD skills. Experience with SketchUp, 3ds Max, or Revit would be a plus. A good understanding of joinery detailing, materials, and fabrication processes is essential.
