Job Description
This company is looking for a Drafting Technician to join their team in Dixon, California. You'll be working on marina and dock construction projects, creating detailed drawings and documentation from sketches and specifications. This role requires a good understanding of drafting principles and the ability to work with various machines and materials.
You'll also be responsible for calculating flotation for dock systems and ensuring fabrication details meet design requirements. Maintaining project files and coordinating with vendors for necessary goods and services are also part of the job.
The ideal candidate will have an Associate's degree or equivalent, with at least three years of related experience. Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential, along with experience in 3D drafting software like Solidworks or AutoCAD Inventor. Strong skills in MS Office and Windows are also needed.
