This role involves preparing detailed structural engineering drawings using MicroStation CADD. You'll also be involved in checking engineering computations, estimating quantities, and conducting field investigations to gather data. A key part of the job is developing and using 3D physical models for design, clash detection, and construction coordination. You'll also contribute to maintaining the department's standard details for bridges and the Bridge Manual. Reviewing contractor submittals for structural elements and assisting with special assignments are also part of the responsibilities. In emergency situations, you may be called upon to support the department's incident command system.
