Job Description
This company is looking for a Senior Drafter to join their team in the Greater Vancouver Metropolitan Area. You'll be working closely with engineering and BIM teams to create drawings for civil infrastructure projects, covering everything from initial design to final as-built records.
The role involves preparing detailed drawings for water, sewer, and drainage systems, as well as treatment plants and pumping stations. You'll also be involved in compiling data for reports, processing applications, and occasionally conducting field surveys. This position offers the chance to check contractor shop drawings and coordinate drafting work on larger projects.
If you have a strong background in drafting and design, particularly with infrastructure, and are proficient in software like Revit and AutoCAD, this could be a great fit. The company values individuals who can work with minimal supervision and have a good understanding of engineering design principles and construction methods.
