Job Description
The company is looking for a Computer Aided Design Drafter to join their team in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. This role is part of a joint venture working on the significant Alexandra Bridge Replacement Project.
In this position, you will be responsible for creating accurate engineering drawings, plans, and 3D models for bridge construction. You'll translate technical information into detailed construction documents, ensuring they meet project requirements and industry standards. The role involves reviewing drawings, coordinating design details with the team, and documenting any revisions.
The ideal candidate will have experience with software such as Revit, AutoCAD, or Civil 3D, and a background in civil engineering or a related field. Experience with bridge construction or major civil infrastructure projects is a plus, as are strong attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively.
