Job Description
The company is looking for a Principal Drafter in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. This role is key to supporting their engineering teams by creating detailed 2D and 3D drawings for various projects, including electrical layouts and schematics. You'll be responsible for managing design data and ensuring drawings meet project standards.
To succeed in this position, you should have a diploma in Computer Aided Design technology or equivalent, with at least five years of drafting experience, particularly in transmission, substation, and distribution. Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is essential, along with a strong understanding of electrical design codes and drafting standards. The ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment is also important.
