Job Description
This role involves creating structural plans for buildings, covering both design and execution phases. You'll translate engineers' calculations into detailed drawings and use BIM tools like Revit and Tekla to build digital models, ensuring their accuracy and consistency.
You'll also be involved in BIM coordination meetings and technical discussions with other disciplines. A key part of the job is making sure all deliverables meet current standards and are of high quality, while also considering site constraints and working closely with engineers and architects.
The ideal candidate has a degree in Civil Engineering or Building, with 3-5 years of experience in structural design. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, along with a good understanding of BIM, is essential. Experience with reinforced concrete, metal, or wood structures, and the ability to read calculation notes, are also important.
