Job Description
The company is looking for a Draughtsperson to join their team in Antibes, France, for a 6-month contract. This is a role where you'll be fully in charge of mechanical design projects, taking them from the initial idea all the way to the final documentation needed for production. You'll be working closely with the engineering and manufacturing departments.
You'll be using SolidWorks extensively to create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings, design complete mechanical assemblies with precise tolerancing, and produce all necessary manufacturing drawings and Bills of Materials. The role also involves ensuring designs meet relevant standards and supporting the entire process from specification to final validation.
To be successful, you should be an expert in SolidWorks with a solid understanding of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes. The company values someone who is detail-oriented, a strong problem-solver, and comfortable working independently while also collaborating effectively with different teams. A degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least three years of experience in mechanical design are required.
