Job Description
The company is looking for a Technical Drafter in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. This role is central to developing and refining manufactured products. You'll be creating detailed 2D and 3D drawings, solid models, and designs ready for production.
You will work closely with various teams, including engineering, production, and sales, to support innovation and improve manufacturing efficiency. The ideal candidate is proactive, creative, and has a strong eye for detail, with excellent problem-solving skills.
A DEC in Mechanical Engineering Technology and at least 5 years of experience in industrial design within a manufacturing setting are required. Proficiency in SolidWorks for both 2D and 3D design is essential. Knowledge of metal stamping or fabrication, and experience with ERP systems, are considered assets. Bilingualism in French and English is also necessary.
