This role involves supporting a major turbine generator refurbishment project at the Pickering Nuclear Generating Station. The focus is on technical and planning deliverables, with a strong emphasis on using OPG’s Asset Suite 9 program. The Piping Assessor will interpret design drawings and specifications, conceptualize construction methodologies for piping systems, and estimate construction durations. This includes planning removal and installation activities within work orders and preparing detailed work plans, reports, and material orders. Key requirements include extensive knowledge of Asset Suite 9, a strong understanding of piping systems and welding techniques, and experience in a nuclear power plant environment. A mechanical certification and at least five years of experience as a Mechanical Foreman in a nuclear setting are also essential.
