Job Description
The company is looking for a Site Senior Engineer to oversee finishing works on their projects in Cairo, Egypt. This role involves managing daily site activities, ensuring everything aligns with project schedules, specifications, and approved drawings. You'll be responsible for monitoring the quality of work from both the labor force and subcontractors, making sure they adhere to timelines and safety standards.
Your day-to-day will include reviewing and approving shop drawings, materials, and contractor requests, as well as verifying payments against actual site progress. You'll also be tasked with preparing site reports, maintaining accurate records, and coordinating with the interior design team to resolve any site or design issues that could affect the project's duration.
To be successful in this role, you'll need a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering and at least 5 years of relevant experience. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to work under pressure and a keen eye for detail. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and standard office software is also required.
