Job Description
The company is seeking a BIM/VDC Engineer to join their team in Draper, Utah. This role involves leading digital construction efforts and advancing model-based workflows for heavy civil and structural projects like highways, bridges, and rail.
The engineer will be responsible for creating and managing 3D models using VDC/BIM technologies to support estimating and constructability reviews. Key tasks include developing detailed models in software like Civil 3D and Autodesk AEC Suite, modeling underground utilities and concrete structures, coordinating models with internal and external teams, and performing quantity takeoffs.
Ideal candidates will have over 3 years of BIM/VDC experience in heavy civil or concrete structures, with proficiency in Revit, Civil 3D, and coordination tools such as Navisworks. Familiarity with 4D scheduling and a background in programming or dashboarding tools would be advantageous.
