Job Description
The company is looking for a Senior Design Engineer with 5 to 7 years of experience in UK power distribution projects. This role involves designing and engineering protection, control, and SCADA systems for primary substations, up to 400kV, supporting DNO/IDNO/ICP frameworks.
You'll be responsible for creating detailed engineering deliverables, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and SCADA integration. The position requires a strong understanding of protection schemes, control philosophies, and UK utility standards, with experience in numerical relays and IEC 61850 protocols. Familiarity with AutoCAD and ETAP is also expected.
This is an opportunity to work on key projects within the UK power sector, contributing to the design of essential infrastructure. The role requires a detail-oriented approach and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
