Job Description
The company is looking for a Senior Electrical Power Engineer in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. This role involves designing, coordinating, and validating electrical power systems for railway transport infrastructure. You'll be part of multidisciplinary teams working on complex projects, handling everything from basic and detailed engineering to construction and commissioning.
You'll focus on high, medium, and low voltage systems, as well as DC traction power. This includes designing substations, analyzing electrical performance, and ensuring compliance with standards. The ideal candidate has over 10 years of electrical engineering experience, with significant time spent on railway traction systems and distribution networks. Proficiency in AutoCAD is required, and experience with BIM tools like Revit and Navisworks would be a plus.
