Job Description
The company is looking for a Power Line Designer to join their team in Gdynia, Poland. This role involves creating design documentation for high and extra-high voltage power lines, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and client requirements. You'll be working closely with interdisciplinary teams on both domestic and international projects.
You'll be responsible for designing overhead and underground power lines, including route planning, longitudinal profiles, pole locations, and structural solutions. This will involve performing technical calculations and preparing design documentation for various stages, from construction to as-built. Coordination with other disciplines and participation in technical discussions with clients will also be key parts of the job.
To be successful in this role, you should have a technical degree in electrical engineering or power engineering, with at least 5 years of experience in designing high and extra-high voltage power lines. You'll need building design qualifications, proficiency in AutoCAD, PLS-CADD, and QGIS, and a good understanding of industry regulations and norms. Communicative English is also a must.
