Job Description
The company is looking for an MEP Value Engineer in Voluntari, Romania. This role involves analyzing and optimizing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) installations to find cost-effective and efficient solutions during the bidding, procurement, and pre-construction phases. The goal is to reduce costs and improve project efficiency while maintaining quality standards.
You'll be reviewing technical documents and project designs for HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems. Your work will focus on identifying opportunities for technical and economic improvements, proposing alternative equipment and materials, and conducting cost-benefit analyses. Collaboration with design, bidding, procurement, and execution teams will be key to implementing validated solutions.
The ideal candidate has a degree in Building Services Engineering and experience in MEP design, bidding, or execution. Strong analytical skills for cost optimization, knowledge of HVAC, electrical, or plumbing systems, and proficiency in AutoCAD and Excel are required. Experience with suppliers, subcontractors, value engineering, or BIM/Revit MEP would be a plus.
