Job Description
This role involves contributing to the design of high-voltage substations, focusing on creating detailed layout and execution plans. You'll be responsible for the geographical placement of substations, considering client needs, site constraints, and relevant construction standards. The position also requires generating civil engineering and reinforcement plans for various structures, preparing material lists, and performing self-checks on your designs.
You will also analyze technical specifications and relevant high-voltage standards, such as NFC 13-200 and NFC 18-510, as well as RTE construction guidelines. This includes estimating realistic timelines for plan development and leading study progress meetings to discuss advancements, remaining tasks, risks, and schedules. You'll also be involved in distributing plans and providing necessary extracts for work procedures.
The company is looking for someone with a Bac+2/3 in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering and at least 7 years of experience in high-voltage substation design, specifically with high-voltage aspects within RTE or private environments. Strong proficiency in AutoCAD is essential, along with a solid understanding of the mentioned standards and RTE directives. Experience with Revit and civil engineering/reinforcement plan creation is a plus.
