This role involves designing devices, assemblies, and mechanical components for electronic systems. You'll be responsible for creating technical drawings, manufacturing documents, and bills of materials, guiding development projects from initial design through to production support. The position also includes managing design and product data, as well as supporting cost estimations with design drafts. You'll collaborate on project planning, documentation, and technical discussions with clients, suppliers, and internal teams. A degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or a similar field is required, along with experience in mechanical design, particularly with electronic assemblies. Proficiency in CAD systems like Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, and Vault Professional is essential, as is experience with SAP and MS Office.
