Job Description
The company is looking for a Building Information Models (BIM) Engineer to lead BIM and Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) efforts on commercial construction projects. This role involves coordinating models, conducting constructability reviews, and performing clash detection to improve project outcomes. You'll work closely with project managers, superintendents, and design teams to leverage technology for efficient project execution.
In this position, you will develop and manage BIM models, coordinate architectural, structural, and MEP systems, and create visualizations for project teams. You'll also use reality capture technologies, support preconstruction with model-based estimating, and establish BIM standards and workflows. The company values individuals with a degree in a related field and at least three years of BIM/VDC experience, proficient in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM 360/Autodesk Construction Cloud.
