Job Description
This role involves contributing engineering expertise to a major public transport project in Montreal. You'll be responsible for specialized services in studies, design, and plans and specifications, ensuring the quality of technical deliverables and resolving on-site issues.
You will collaborate with project teams throughout the design and construction phases, analyzing technical problems, proposing solutions, and ensuring work complies with quality, cost, and schedule objectives. This position requires a presence on construction sites, with occasional travel to administrative offices and potential for evening or weekend work.
The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering, has at least three years of relevant experience, and is a registered professional engineer in Quebec. Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and collaborative tools is essential, with knowledge of BIM software being an asset.
