Job Description
The company is looking for a Composite Designer to join their team in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. This role is focused on the industrialization of the A220 aircraft program. You'll be responsible for ensuring that the design of primary and secondary structures, as well as system installations, meets all technical requirements.
Your day-to-day will involve making key technical decisions for structures and system installations, developing and verifying test plans, and preparing technical deliverables. You'll also be involved in analyzing and implementing changes, and acting as a technical interface with clients and suppliers, while supporting the resolution of non-conformities.
To be successful, you'll need a degree in mechanical or aeronautical engineering and strong knowledge of composite and metallic structures. Proficiency in Catia/Enovia and Fibersim is essential, along with experience in composite parts design and manufacturing. You should also be bilingual in English and French and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
