Job Description
The company is seeking a Senior CAD Engineer in Troy, Michigan, to lead 3DX CAD and engineering activities for vehicle exterior systems. This role involves technical responsibility for the development and release of CATIA V6/SDX data and part designs, as well as contributing to global technical strategies.
You will be the primary interface with customers and program management, guiding the CAE department and supporting launch activities. The position requires a strong understanding of product development, project planning, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet performance and cost targets.
Ideal candidates will have a BSME, over 10 years of CAD engineering experience, and a background in plastic injection molding design. Experience launching complete vehicles and working with global teams is also highly valued.
