Job Description
This company is looking for a Fire Protection Engineer for a contract role in Pickering, Ontario. The position involves conducting fire protection engineering assessments for nuclear and industrial facilities, ensuring compliance with various codes and standards. You'll be responsible for leading fire hazard assessments, developing alternative compliance solutions, and reviewing fire protection systems.
The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline and a P.Eng. designation in Ontario or eligibility for it. They are seeking someone with 8-15+ years of experience in highly regulated facilities, a strong understanding of fire protection codes and standards, and excellent technical writing and communication skills.
