Job Description
The company is looking for a Senior Project Engineer specializing in Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems. This role involves taking the lead on ELV engineering coordination for various MEP projects, guiding less experienced engineers, and making sure all ELV work aligns with project specifications and regulations.
You'll be responsible for reviewing ELV shop drawings, submittals, and method statements, and providing technical guidance on systems like fire alarms, CCTV, access control, and structured cabling. A key part of the job is managing approvals with authorities such as TRA and Civil Defence, and working with inspectors to resolve any technical questions.
This position also includes mentoring junior engineers, overseeing the quality of ELV installations, and participating in testing and commissioning. You'll also manage documentation, report on progress, and look for ways to introduce new technologies and processes to improve efficiency and outcomes. A degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering and 6-8 years of ELV MEP project engineering experience are required.
