Job Description
This role is for a Signalling Design Expert to join a global consultancy working on major rail projects in the United Arab Emirates. You'll be responsible for the design and development of signalling systems for various rail types, ensuring they are safe and efficient.
This involves creating detailed design documentation, coordinating with other engineering disciplines, and ensuring compliance with international standards. You'll also participate in design reviews and hazard assessments, and review submissions from contractors.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in railway signalling design, including experience with systems like CBTC and ETCS, and a good understanding of RAMS principles and functional safety. Experience in international consultancy environments and with UAE or GCC projects would be beneficial.
