Job Description
The company is seeking a Design Technical Engineer to join their team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This role involves preparing and coordinating Post-Tensioning (PT) designs and other structural engineering tasks. You'll be reviewing designs for structural strengthening, modifications, and rehabilitation, ensuring they meet technical standards and are practical for construction.
Your responsibilities will include checking calculations, drawings, and reports, as well as coordinating with clients, consultants, and project teams on all design and technical matters. You'll also be expected to attend technical meetings, present and defend design proposals, and ensure all designs comply with project specifications and relevant codes.
This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and at least 5 years of experience, particularly with Post-Tensioning (PT) design and structural strengthening. Strong coordination, communication, and presentation skills are essential, with knowledge of Dubai authority requirements being a plus.
