Job Description
This role is for an Analyst specializing in energy efficiency simulations in Montreal, Quebec. You'll be gathering existing site conditions and technical data to support financial aid requests. A key part of the job involves performing energy simulations using software like EE4, E-Quest, DesignBuilder, and OpenStudio.
You will then produce detailed reports outlining energy savings calculations and contribute to design projects. The position also requires site monitoring. A relevant bachelor's degree or college diploma in mechanical engineering, along with at least three years of HVAC experience, is needed.
Familiarity with energy simulation software and financial aid applications is essential. You should also have a strong understanding of building codes such as the CNB, CNEB, and ASHRAE 90.1. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, and LEED certification or membership in the OIQ would be advantageous.
