Job Description
This company is looking for a Lead Engineer to manage their RTOC D&C Conventional operations in Navi Mumbai, India. You'll be overseeing daily operations, from pre-drilling planning to real-time monitoring and resource allocation, ensuring smooth drilling and completion activities.
Your role will involve analyzing drilling parameters against predictive models, reporting any anomalies quickly to the rig team, and supporting risk mitigation. You'll provide crucial decision support to the drilling team by monitoring data in real-time, aiming to enhance drilling performance. This includes preparing end-of-well reports and managing RTOC data, as well as mentoring team members.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering or Earth Sciences, with over 10 years of experience in Drilling Operations, including 2-3 years in Deepwater. Strong experience with simulation software like Landmark Suite and K&M ERA, real-time data monitoring in challenging environments, and knowledge of WITS/WITSML are essential.
