Job Description
This role involves creating electrical control cabinet designs, complete with all necessary documentation, to meet industry and customer specifications. You'll be using MicroStation CAD and Autodesk Inventor to produce and revise project drawings, including system interconnect, power wiring, and loop diagrams. A solid understanding of industry codes and standards like IEEE, ANSI, NEC, IEC, and NFPA is essential.
You'll also be responsible for developing detailed bills of material, specifying parts, and creating ordering drawings. This position requires a proactive approach to incorporating new design techniques for increased efficiency and ensuring defect-free designs are delivered on time.
The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of experience in electrical engineering, specifically with instrumentation and control systems within the energy or oil & gas sectors. Experience with Bently Nevada machinery protection and control products is highly desirable.
