Job Description
The company is looking for an intermediate to senior water resources engineer to join their team in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. This role involves contributing to and potentially leading water resources projects, focusing on surface water management, particularly within the mining sector, and natural hazard risk management. You'll be part of multidisciplinary teams, tackling complex earth science challenges for clients.
Your responsibilities will include technical reviews of water balance, hydrological, and hydraulic modeling studies, as well as the design of hydraulic structures. Depending on your experience, you might also manage project tasks, coordinate with other disciplines, and mentor junior engineers. Client interaction and contributing to business development efforts are also part of the role.
This position requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in civil or water engineering, with 6 to 14 years of relevant experience. Strong technical expertise in hydrology, hydraulics, surface water management, and hydraulic infrastructure design is essential. Fluency in both French and English is required, with proficiency in another language being an asset for international collaboration.
