Job Description
The company is looking for a Process Safety Engineer specializing in refrigeration to join their team in Brossard, Quebec. This role involves contributing to process risk analyses, process safety management programs, and the safe design of ammonia and CO2 refrigeration systems for clients in the food, pharmaceutical, and biotech sectors.
You'll be involved in planning and leading risk assessment sessions like HAZOP and What-If, reviewing process safety information, and preparing clear technical reports. The position also includes supporting clients' process safety management programs and learning various hazard assessment methodologies.
This opportunity requires a degree in chemical or mechanical engineering and at least two years of experience in process safety or industrial refrigeration. Familiarity with ammonia and CO2 refrigeration systems, relevant codes and standards, and the ability to interpret P&IDs are essential.
