This role is for a Process Safety / Refrigeration Engineer with at least two years of experience in process safety and industrial refrigeration. You'll be working with clients in the food & beverage, pharmaceutical, and industrial biotechnology sectors. Your main focus will be on supporting process hazard analyses and process safety management programs. This involves facilitating risk assessments like HAZOP and LOPA, reviewing technical documents such as PFDs and P&IDs, and preparing detailed reports. You'll also contribute to the safe design of ammonia and CO2 refrigeration systems. The position requires a degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering and membership in a Canadian provincial engineering association. Familiarity with refrigeration systems and relevant codes and standards is essential. Strong technical writing and communication skills are key.
