Job Description
This company is looking for a Process Safety / Refrigeration Engineer to join their team in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. You'll be working with clients in the food & beverage, pharmaceutical, and industrial biotechnology sectors, focusing on process hazard analyses and the safe design of ammonia and CO2 refrigeration systems.
The role involves planning and facilitating risk assessments like HAZOP and LOPA, reviewing process safety information, and supporting the development of Process Safety Management programs. You'll also conduct site inspections and contribute to safety deliverables for refrigeration systems.
A degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering and at least two years of experience in process safety or industrial refrigeration are required. Familiarity with relevant codes and standards, along with strong technical writing and communication skills, is essential.
