Job Description
This company is looking for a refrigeration process safety engineer to join their team in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. You'll be working on process risk analyses, safety management programs, and the design of ammonia and CO2 refrigeration systems for clients in the food, pharmaceutical, and biotech sectors.
Your role will involve planning and leading risk assessment sessions like HAZOP and What-If, reviewing process safety information, and preparing clear technical reports. You'll also support clients with their Process Safety Management programs and contribute to ammonia safety deliverables, including system design and ventilation calculations.
The ideal candidate has a degree in chemical or mechanical engineering, at least two years of experience in process safety or industrial refrigeration, and familiarity with relevant codes and standards. Strong technical writing and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
