Job Description
This company is looking for a refrigeration process safety engineer with at least two years of experience. You'll be working on process risk analyses, safety management programs, and the design of ammonia and CO2 refrigeration systems for clients in the food, pharmaceutical, and biotech sectors.
Your role will involve planning and leading risk assessment sessions like HAZOP and What-If, reviewing process diagrams, and preparing detailed technical reports. You'll also support clients with their process safety management programs and contribute to ammonia safety deliverables, including system design and ventilation calculations.
The ideal candidate has a degree in chemical or mechanical engineering and is a registered engineer or EIT. Experience with ammonia and CO2 refrigeration systems, relevant codes and standards, and process safety software is important. Strong technical writing and communication skills are essential for collaborating with teams and clients.
