This role involves developing and managing mechanical building systems models using BIM tools, ensuring they integrate smoothly with other project disciplines. You'll be responsible for creating 3D models, producing coordinated shop drawings, and resolving clashes through model checks and coordination meetings. This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, blending on-site and remote work. You will collaborate with project managers on mechanical scope planning, assist in design reviews, and contribute to value engineering efforts. Maintaining BIM standards and documentation is also a key part of the role, as is liaising with clients and contractors to ensure project requirements are met and deliverables are supported. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical engineering background, with knowledge of building services and mechanical systems. Proficiency in BIM authoring tools like Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks, along with experience in model coordination and clash detection, is essential.
