Job Description
The company is looking for a Building Information Models (BIM) Engineer to lead BIM and Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) efforts on commercial projects. This role involves coordinating models, conducting clash detection, and using technology to improve project outcomes. You'll work closely with project managers, superintendents, and design teams to leverage data for efficient project execution.
You'll be responsible for developing and maintaining BIM models, coordinating different building systems, and creating visualizations. The role also includes supporting preconstruction with model-based estimating and constructability analysis, as well as establishing BIM standards and providing technical support to project teams. Experience with Autodesk Revit, BIM 360/Autodesk Construction Cloud, and commercial construction coordination is essential.
