Job Description
The company is looking for a Senior Design Coordinator, Electrical & ICAT in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. This role involves working closely with design and pre-construction teams on complex projects, particularly in sectors like healthcare and mission-critical facilities.
You'll be assisting with electrical design reviews, technology approaches, and bid competitiveness. A key part of the job is coordinating drawings and presentations, ensuring electrical solutions are understood and implemented throughout the project lifecycle. You'll also liaise with design teams, consultants, and trade contractors, and support estimating and construction teams with temporary power and lighting. Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, and ETAP is expected.
This position requires at least two years of design experience, a solid understanding of electrical systems and building codes, and strong communication and conceptual skills. A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is necessary.
