Job Description
The company is looking for an Electrical BIM Engineer in Queens, New York. This role involves creating and managing detailed electrical Revit models and drawings for various systems like lighting and power distribution. You'll be coordinating these models with other disciplines to resolve clashes and supporting project managers and senior engineers.
You'll also work closely with subcontractors and internal teams to clarify design intent and attend coordination meetings. The position requires strong Revit skills, including 3D modeling and coordination, and a good understanding of electrical systems used in commercial construction. Familiarity with NEC requirements and construction practices is important.
