Job Description
The company is looking for a BIM Engineer to join their team in West Fargo, North Dakota. This role is central to leading Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) efforts across commercial construction projects. You'll be involved in project coordination, clash detection, and using digital tools to improve collaboration and project results.
In this position, you will work closely with project managers, design teams, and subcontractors. Your responsibilities will include developing and managing BIM models, coordinating different building systems to resolve conflicts, and creating visualizations for project teams. You'll also use reality capture technologies to validate existing conditions and monitor progress.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in a related field and at least three years of experience in BIM or VDC. Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM 360 is essential, along with a solid understanding of construction methods and project delivery. Experience with laser scanning or drone technology is a plus.
