The company is looking for a Senior BIM Electrical Engineer to join their team in Queens, New York. This role involves leading the electrical engineering design process for various project types, from industrial to mission-critical facilities. You'll be responsible for developing detailed Revit models for power, lighting, and other electrical systems, and performing essential technical analyses like arc flash and voltage drop calculations. You'll also manage the entire engineering lifecycle, coordinating closely with architectural, structural, and mechanical teams using BIM tools. This includes facilitating technical reviews, clash detection meetings, and providing support for project management tasks like budget tracking and RFIs. The ideal candidate will have at least six years of experience in electrical engineering within construction or design-build, with advanced Revit proficiency being essential. A strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other local regulations is required, along with the ability to produce technical drawings and specifications.
