This role is for a BIM Electrical Engineer who will be developing and coordinating electrical designs using BIM for projects in the UK, US, and Gulf regions. You'll be working with Revit for electrical modeling, including lighting, general services, containment, and fire alarm systems across various building types. The position involves creating detailed 3D models, performing MEP coordination using Revit MEP, and conducting clash detection and resolution with Navisworks Manage. You'll also be responsible for preparing shop drawings and tender drawings, understanding electrical calculations, and creating electrical circuiting and panel schedules. You should be proficient in Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD, with a strong understanding of MEP coordination and shop drawing preparation. Experience with Amtech calculations, Dialux lighting calculations, and Revit families is also important.
