This company is looking for a BIM Engineer to join their Capacity Delivery team in Austin, Texas. The role involves managing BIM production for various sites, including model management, clash detection, and drawing extraction. You'll be responsible for maintaining the federated model, ensuring consultant uploads are verified and version-controlled, and tracking any issues that arise. A key part of this position is running weekly clash detection cycles, where you'll identify clashes, assign them for resolution, and verify that they've been addressed. You'll also produce essential field deliverables directly from the model, such as coordinated drawings, prefab packages, and as-built updates. The ideal candidate will have experience with BIM coordination on large, MEP-heavy projects and be proficient in Revit and Navisworks for production tasks. Strong discipline in managing model versions and uploads is crucial, and your clash reports should effectively drive problem resolution. Experience with ACC or BIM 360, fabrication-level modeling, Dynamo, scripting, or point cloud workflows would be a plus.
